Anthony and Crystal’s story began in December 2022 thanks to a little encouragement from friends who were convinced they’d be a perfect match.

At the time, neither of them was on the lookout for love, but after some friendly persistence, Anthony figured he had nothing to lose and gave Crystal a call on December 28, 2022. What was supposed to be a quick introduction turned into a three hour conversation that felt more like finding a missing piece than making small talk.

A few days later, Crystal surprised Anthony with a FaceTime call on New Year’s Eve. From that moment on, they talked every night, going the distance long before they officially were.

They met in person for the first time in January 2023 during Crystal’s trip to Los Angeles. What started as a quick lunch turned into something much more, and from there they decided to take a chance on their own long distance adventure.

Over the next year, they made it work across time zones, visiting each other every few weeks and turning every trip into a new memory. From the East Coast to California, with stops in Florida, the Bahamas, and New York, they quickly realized they were better together wherever they were. Somewhere along the way, life started to feel a little more magical.

In June 2024, Crystal moved back to California and the two began building their life together in Whittier. Between home projects, travel, and creating their own little tiki escape, they found that home is less about a place and more about who you share it with.

In November 2025, during a helicopter ride over Oahu, Anthony asked Crystal to spend forever together. With island views all around them and a ring inspired by a little bit of Disney magic, she said yes.

They’ll be getting married on June 27, 2026, exactly two years after Crystal moved to California. Their story is proof that sometimes love finds you when you least expect it, and when it does, it’s worth taking the ride.

Most of all, they’re excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people who mean the most to them, especially their families.
